The life of a Venezuelan Kidnapper takes an unexpected turn on his last job.
This short film comes to us from Venezuelan director Juan Avella. It was shot in 2017 on the streets of Caracas.
Working with editor Antonio Martín, we sought to maintain a pace that matched the stress of a kidnapping. I recall the excellent performance by Ernesto Campo as Edinson.
“Hijo x Hijo” won several festival awards, among which the following stand out: Festival de Viña Del Mar, Chicago Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, Festival internacional de Monterrey.
